Been Gone Too Long!

Well, as you can tell I have been goon tooo long! I have another love/passion I've been working on and it has taken a lot of my time and energy! I've gone back to one of my first passions - photography! My best friend from my childhood had been trying to have a baby for twelve years and she finally got pregnant...of course I wanted to do an expecting session with her and her husband. Well, this spured up my passion again and showed me how much I have missed it!!! I am still making bears and friends, but at a much slower pase. I will be designing a blog for my photography company soon. Until then please visit my site www.momentsbyheatherlynn.com

LoOk WhaTs NeW!

Well if you have been wondering where I've been....I've been working on some new little pretties!!!

One of the ladies at The Olde Green Cupboard had a retirement party the other night...My friend Patsy just retired from being a school teacher for many years...Every one of he kids and or parents that may have come in to the shop always said what a wonderful teacher she was! I know she will be missed greatly by all at that school!

Well anyway we all either made or found pin cushions for her. She was starting a collection and I think we all helped her greatly that night! After seeing all those wonderful different pin cushions it inspired me to come home and make more.

I searched my cabinet that I store all my goodies in that I had planned to put with bears and found these wonderful old vintage ceramic doll tea sets I have been collecting. I put my little pea brain to work and came up with these little 1 1/2" tall pin cushions. I found some sweet little paper flowers mady by April Cornell that I just fell in love with. Then I searched some of my fabric stash and found several wonderful sweet chic fabrics to add shabby character to them. Most of the fabric are from the Mary Rose line.
These little pretties are for sale...OF COURSE! You can see them on my etsy site http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5850909 . Happy Shopping and keep watching for new ones coming soon.

Yeah Doc found a home!

Well, I hope you got to say goodbye! As in my last post I stated once the girls take my friends to a show they don't last long! This was sooo true for Doc the Mouse. The girls didn't even get the booth opened and he found his new home. Gloria told me the person who adopted him might even be back for Clementine the Elephant....What a luck lady!
I'm so glad Doc found a happy home!
Blow him a kiss and say farewell! xoxoxo

On tHe RoaD AgaiN!

Well The Olde Green Cupboard is off to another show. This time it's in
Columbus Ohio (NQA Show). My little friends Doc, Finzer, Russell, and Clementine have traveled with them to see if they will find someone who just can't live without them. If you have been looking at one of them wondering if you are going to adopt them, don't wait! I will tell the girls not to put them out if you want one of them. The ladies at these quilt shows just love them and they most likely won't last.
Click on the bear button and adopt one for your collection now.

New Arrival

Hickory Dickery Doc the mouse ran up the clock! Well Doc got tired of the "rat" race of running up and down, so he decided to get a clock of his own! He is holding the face of a vintage watch over an old child's toy cup with the picture of the nursery rhyme "hickery dickery doc". Doc is approx 4" tall. His tail is the coolest. You would think you are touching a real mouse tail...you must feel for yourself. Adopt him today! Click on the Old Green Cupboard link then go to the bears page.
